Puck Drops on Prep League Floor Hockey

On Tuesday February 11th, the “puck dropped” on the start of the Prep League Floor Hockey season. Established through the generosity of Kroenke Sports Charities and the Colorado Avalanche, students who participate can experience hockey, without the ice of course.

Schools from around the Prep League have embraced this sport as it has exploded in growth since its inception. Many schools have multiple teams thanks in part to its popularity. Students are able to work on physical fitness in a fun and safe environment as they build on spatial awareness, team work, anticipation, communication and decision making.

Denver Middle School Prep League is proud to offer Floor Hockey, it has been able to provide after school physical activity for so many in Denver Public Schools.
